@alex_cycles are your team going to do the re-run of the TTT next week? (Sorry if you've already said and Imissed it)

No. In our case it won't gain us anything. We came 6th Five points below 5th so there's no real chance of any improvement and nothing to gain. I'd do it if we had a chance of 3rd or something, but this season we only managed to field 5 riders every week. So we never really had a chance of a podium. This week we didn't have our 3rd best points scorer, which hurt us.

Ah fair enough.

For us, we're currently only 5th in our league, but we got DQ'd (so zero points) in the R1 TTT due to only having 3 riders, so if we win the TTT after the re-run there's still actually a chance for us to win the league. We're 10 points off the league lead, and the TTT win would get us 9, but it would also take a point off the team currently leading, which would make us level on points. If one other team also beats the time of the team currently in 1st, they'll drop 2 points and we'll win outright.

So we need to put in a winning performance, but in theory still everything to play for

I've just put a comment onto the Strava activity of one of the Coalition guys, asking if they're thinking of re-doing the TTT!

(Coalition should be no problem for us to leapfrog in the league, and are probably the team most likely to knock points off our archrivals 3R, if they can beat their time.)

Nice one Tim!

Yeah based on some of their coments on Strava we're not sure if the team currently leading the league are aware that they can still be toppled!

But even if they did I wouldn't really want to be in their shoes dciding whether or not to re-do their TTT considering they used all 6 riders and came 2nd with a time just 2 seconds off 1st place. If they do put in an even faster time they may do enough to prevent us catching them overall even if we do win the stage (they only need to remian 2nd for the stage after the re-run), but that's a gamble for them considering their good first round performance...

I'm very impressed with Zwift Customer Service at the mo.

Firstly they had a great offer on the Zwift Ride £999 which includes the new KICKR Core 2.

Secondly, I ordered it on a Friday and it was delivered on the following Monday!

Thirdly, I complained that heir Support Bot had advised me that it came with a Tablet Holder (which apparently it doesn't). After deliberating, They are now shipping me the tablet holder free of charge.

10/10 :okay:

I'm looking forward to your wife beating your times on some segments.

Probably old news to some, but I heard Ed Laverack isn't doing this year's hill climb nationals.

Combination of doing some tours this year which don't really train your 2-3min ability much, plus he then had a lurgy that prevented any training through most of September.

He's hoping to start his usual winter Zwift antics sometime soon.

It's a bit short to be a Laverack climb anyway - I think it's going to be close between Harry Mac and Andy Nichols. Perhaps Josh Coyne is a bit of a wildcard - mighty impressive at Monsal but maybe 3 minutes is a bit out of his wheelhouse?
