I'm slightly biased but it's an incredible frame it really is. And obviously a good upgrade fit wise from the Allez. Are you thinking new or second hand Kip? There's definitely a massive drop in price second hand so there are 'bargains' to be had. Brand new the sl5 is still the same price as when I bought my frame and it's rare they go below that, even with a new frame being released spesh are very controlling in that regard.
If you go ultegra I'd still get a dura ace or praxis chainset. It just doesn't look right with an ultegra one. Like Bob says, what a lucky son!
Like your idea AndyGreat write up Jeff, you're putting in some solid C races with great results. After September i'll start doing races again, we could work as a team, 'bkool splitters'![]()

Hey Bob, I cant download your ascent from Bedoin, Something about strava membership, can you place it on here for download please
Hell no! The thought of going beyond the dulux / crown paint isle, gives me a nose bleed!

whatever is easiest for the ElemntI will try but pm me your email and I can download and send direct. Will you be wanting the gpx file?

Team bkool vs team splitters would be interesting, if there was a way of making a level playing field, which there isn't at present.
Admittedly it'd be a little predictable...![]()

Can we bring Dave (sticky bottle)?![]()

Careful, in every cycling movie the underdogs win. Those of us who ride in both worlds may chose the " gritty come from behind, wounded foot taped to the pedal" team. You can. Unfortunately you can't have a trailer!![]()
I didn't realise Bob was part Native American. Is he in denial about his wounded knee? You're quite right Randy
But please don't mention the wounded... it'll only encourage Bob to mention his knee !

, is really more about my ITB issues. Feck, is my sports masseur enjoying working that over. I tell you it is actually worse than using a roller as he takes his knuckle and applies it to the length of the band, starting just inside the hip and working his way slowly to the knee once, then again...and again. I am sure i cried out-or I would have if i could breathe but such is the intensity of the pain i think i held my breath throughout the whole process.
