Zwift controls the turbo not the app

You dont get the map unless your actually using zwift and with the mobile link on wifi and then it only shows your position or if your "friends " are nearby you which will show up as orange blobs.

That makes sense, my wifi doesn't reach the garage, I use a power line adapter to get internet out there. The phone is on 4g, so no maps until it gets colder and I'm allowed to move the turbo into the house.

I've got a power line adapter that emits wifi for what it's worth, but you probably don't want to know that if it effects your chances of getting invited back into the house this winter.

Andy, I can see others have answered. WiFi needed and you must also be running Zwift- it then links with Zwift.

Nothing wrong with not liking things with more than 4 legs . Its when it takes over your life it becomes a problem
