This is why i upgraded to a direct drive i was getting so frustrated by all the slipping it was doing my head in, not any more.
When the Pro dies I'll see what's on the market for me but it's not so much of a pain at the moment that I need to shell out the best part of a grand. The Pro is still doing a good job for me at helping me get fit which is the whole objective :okay: Just wish I could lose some weight too (probably need to stop eating biscuits and cakes to be fair :mrpig: )

The neo wasnt my first choice i think it was the elite directo that i was going to get but they were out of stock and i would of waited about 4 weeks for one then i found a neo close to me in stock so got that im a now person ^_^ i dont like waiting.

@Breedon or anyone else who may know this. I saw you used to use trainerroad and zwift simultaneously.

Couple of questions. Firstly, do your rides get recorded to strava twice? Obv not a problem to delete one but just wondering.

Secondly, do your feet climbed count towards the Everest challenge?

Thirdly, how’d you set it all up?

Thanks in advance!

Dean I think you missed my post. Or you just trying to hurt my feelings!

Also I’m setting up a Facebook account specifically for getting zwift info. Which groups should I be looking to join?

I'm the same :okay: When the Pro dies I won't want to wait for the 'best' replacement, I'll go for what is available quickly  Hopefully the Pro won't die though for some time yet

I must admit waiting for the Atom wasn’t easy. Did you lose interest in getting a power meter Whorty?

Sorry Tom never seen it we're still buddies :hugs:

When i use TrainerRoad with zwift and finish the sessions both get on Strava so i delete the TrainerRoad session thats on Strava so only the zwift session shows.

Yes your feet climbed do count towards the everest challenge

I use Trainerroad on my tablet so my tablet controls the neo so that set up to use Neo as controllable trainer and power source and cadence sensor, so on zwift i use on the pc and i have the neo as a power source and cadence sensor only NOT controllable trainer

I did. I looked at the pros and cons, and couldn't justify the expense as the benefit to me is next to zero. Yes, I will get more accurate power numbers, but having the meter won't actually get me any fitter. I won't ride any more with a meter than I do without a meter so for the cost I can't see any benefit.

Same reason for not needing to replace the Pro yet - I could get a Neo, or a Kickr, but it won't get me any fitter or make me ride any longer. My 90 minutes of cycling will be as hard whatever the trainer I use.

Can't justify the spend to HID when there are more needy things to spend the money on to make her life easier. Hey ho, maybe some day eh?

That makes perfectly logical sense Whorty. 3 words that don’t get said very often around here ^_^

Andy, I think he means some of us. Anyway, I have had a good look at all the segment times and I don’t think I can beat your time let alone Lee’s except yours perhaps in a race. And that’s cheating ^_^ I still cannot get over your 1-02 pretzel sprint!
I think we should agree to meet at the start line one day and go for it!

Stop procrastinating, get on that turbo and ride like the wind!

Pretzel sprint, I'd like to break the minute barrier, need more watts or a lot less weight. Now which is easier:wacko:

There's zwift Riders group and zwift Races group there the ones im in

They have a lot of members, 1000’s , and all too often repetitive talk about same things. Some of the team or group specific ones have a bit more humour and so are more fun to dip into. I belong to zsun, which has more of an English as opposed to American tone but there’s Kiss , the Masters etc

So, 2 ant sticks or Bluetooth on one? I am thinking about an Apple TV 4K to use along with a pc. Zwift on Atv4 via bt and TR via win 10 on pc. Phone for zml.
