Andy pedal action bit square on times but cadence stable I already have it set to the 3 second avg
My normal cadence is 85 and no problem holding
Have a look at the Facebook group Tacx Neo, you might find some answers there.
Make sure you have no conflicts such as the Tacx app is still open while using Zwift.
Somebody else said they toggled off/on road feel and that reset it.
Make sure Power / controllable is paired the same such as Ant+ FE-c is set for both.
Good luck

We have had smoke blown up our arses regarding FTP and the shorter test methods

Unless you have completed the 'One hour gold standard' FTP test then the 20 min and 8 min x2 are way off in calculation!

fTP myth.png

The 20 min FTP, the result you take 14.5% off the figure

The 8min x2 FTP, the result you take 22.5% off the figure

Forgot to mention that my Elite was doing the exact thing on the test so perhaps it’s a Zwift issue.....:banghead:

I did whorty’s suggestion and manually put in a figure of 200 and the first race that I competed in automatically adjusted it.
The lazymans ftp test suited me.^_^

Haven't watched the whole video, I stopped when he mentioned they analyzed data of X amount of riders. The thing is that 1 hour at max is an extremely rare situation, so even among 1000 riders there may not be a single 1 hour max ride.

Another thing is that some have better stamina than others, so for those type of riders it will probably be a good estimate, while it may be an over-estimate for others.

Finally, it doesn't really matter if it's not accurate. It is consistant and a good representation of a riders current strength.

The FTP as a number is only a marker, like you say Lars. How you work it out is only valid if you keep the same calc. I must say my new FTP is optimistic.

Have a look at your Normalised Power for a longish race ~1hr and see how that compares to your ftp derived from a 20 min test; mine is usually close and sometimes higher.

I've raised a support ticket but ... any ideas?

I got my new laptop for Xmas and had a quick log in to Zwift in watch mode a couple of days ago just to see how it looked and it was fine. I tried it again today and all I get is the white screen. I uninstalled and re-installed Zwift but still get the same. I'll try it on my old laptop shortly - but any suggestions?

My ftp is 258 but my one hour power in a fast chaingang ride is 218. In a Worlds Team race 220w over 2h 13 and I have a 251w over a 49min Kiss race. The latter was near peak of my training for the worlds when my 20m ftp went up 20w to 258. This is my long winded way of saying my 20min based ftp is close enough to NP over an hour to say it’s accurate enough.
I would also say that in the 6 weeks to the worlds I trained to endurance. Peak power has suffered but my ability to hold near ftp for longer improved. Not too good for 21mile races though.

To be honest I don't think it really matters that much to us mere mortals after all we're not riding or racing with the pros, if you took racing seriously or in a team then i suppose it would, so for now im quite happy with the 20 minute test as it is.

I agree.
I am more interested in my power over 1-2 hours given that’s what I will be riding to in Pyrenees

A belated Happy Christmas everybody - I've been feeling completely crap with severe man-flu since last Thursday and haven't even thought about getting on my bike (or going online). Christmas was a weird haze of alcohol, painkillers and fever - very surreal!! Coming out of the haze now finally and looking forward to getting back in the saddle soon...
