Who's doing the Tour on Thursday apart from myself, Andy & new Andy? Whorty I feel you can PB the Alpe now. It would be great if we had at least 6 of us.
I think I am

I have. The ToC100. Checked the riders list and I was there (although can't recall off top of my head my rider number)@Whorty - have you entered toc ? What one ?
Exactly the same for me. I’m more planted in the saddle with weight going through the pedals & rest distributed to the bars.FWIW i used to get a sore arse or worse when riding a more upright position on the bike. Not at all dependent on saddle. More upright so more weight over arseBike fit sorted weight distribution.
Didnt you change your bike frame?
Not me I'm afraid. Feeling rough as a badger's arse! Aiming to do it Saturday afternoon. If I do any riding this week it will be gentle spins only. Won't be any PBs from me either - I'll have to ride on the Kickr which doesn't like hills, so will be quite slowWho's doing the Tour on Thursday apart from myself, Andy & new Andy? nice timeStage 7 done.
1.30.44 for me @peterob
It was hot tonight and hard work, although I guess a 62 mile IRL ride yesterday, cutting my parents hedges this morning and weeding my rockery this afternoon may not have been the best preparation.
Yay, won the Team Italy Gladiators C race (very small field, just 5 on zwiftpower, but a win is a win).
May have sat on someones wheel for half the race and then overtaken him in the last 2 seconds in a piece of epic shithousery. He averaged 0.4W/Kg more than me for the whole race, was right on the limit when he attacked on the climbs.
Surprised I lasted the full race, as the field was so small I tried to hold the front group for 5 minutes and was a bit starstruck riding alongside Ash Beech (i don't get out a whole lot).
Anyway, time to bask in victory until someone gets re-graded and overtakes me in the podium![]()

Started with discomfort, thought it prostate, then internal piles- but no. I didn't change my seat because its been great for 3 maybe 4 years. I started being more clean, but this just created dermatitis issues, which Im suffering with now. I need to have several days off to recover and let everything settle down. I decided on a saddle change, so sat here with £500 worth of various saddles, which Im trying. I re measured my sit points. Even though my original saddle was fine, it was slightly narrow from the recommended width. I did todays ride which became 2 hours long with very little aggravating of my skin. I think its just about fine adjustment of position to dial in comfort.
So a few rides will hopefully allow me to assess and if there are no set backs, I'll begin to up my riding again. My summer events will have to be shelved and rebuild a base again. Im going to chill and not stress about lost form and start building up for autumn. Im quite heavy due to lack of training and a fair bit of self pity, but that will come off with more riding and PMA
I was using Fizik:s app when i start to select my current saddle. That app measures flexibility of spine with protractor. You add also your estimate avg speed and i guess that information gives you recommended saddle width. I didn’t trust that calculation so i check my sitbones with corrugated cardboard. With those calculations and measurements i have large Fizik Arione R3 open saddle.Started with discomfort, thought it prostate, then internal piles- but no.
