Here's a question .... if you had the choice, what would be your preferred riding expertise?
Climber ala Froome, Nibali etc
Sprinter ala Cav, Gaviria etc
Classics/roleur ala Gilbert, De Gent, Sagan etc
Great question, Gilbert for me

It start to bother me alreadyOk, I am going to take my leave of CC for a while. Enjoy my absence .
Ciao boys and girls.

I once did a calculation based on a Alpe d'Huez climb and found that for every 3kg less weight you will go 2 min. faster. In the Pro peleton
The difference in weight between the climbers and sprinters is less than 10kg and yet they are minutes even tens of minutes behind the climbers.
I take a bit of solace being a tad heavier whilst climbing
For me that down to 2 things
Where you off to Bob?Ok, I am going to take my leave of CC for a while. Enjoy my absence .

Climbers also suggest GC and whilst I'd love to be able to, my endurance is pretty good on a single day, but declines significantly after 2-3 days. For me that down to 2 things
Several summer trips to the Alps, Pyrenees, Dolomites and spring trips to Mallorca
Just the enjoyment of watching GC contenders go head to head on mountain stages as well as seeing whether breakaway riders can stay away.
I've ridden Flanders 3 times.Yep I've sone quite a few of them and it is then brilliant watching the GC guys go at the mountains you've been on.
I've never gone and ridden any classics courses - so I wonder if that would have the same impact on me?

Everything is fine. I just fancy a break.
Ciao
.
Signed up for the DBR ride tomorrow - quite a low turnout so far.
This is the weather forecast for Skive.
