Sounds unfortunate, and its the way it seems to go in these races.Sounds like a decent ride Del and good to feel positive.
Me though, I though I would improve on Richmond and had a mare of a ride unable to sustain power, falling off the lead group on the climb and then stuck in no mans land with a rider who had 2 team mates just ahead and so didn’t want to bridge to them. We had a pleasant exchange in which he rejected my exhortations! 😁 Still, shows the way this series is causing us all to ride for our teams. The gap grew to over 2 minutes. 80th place I think and a poor time. May drop out of the TTT tomorrow and get some rest. We need it at our age 😀
Falling off the lead group, I spent most of the Richmond stage after Libby Hill in No Man's Land. Working like crazy and getting nowhere!
Better luck next week!
I would like to see the transcript of your exchanges with your fellow rider last night!

Probably should have stopped riding today when I felt something sore but like a numpty who was halfway up the hill I kept on grinding
Hopefully it will shrink over the next few days - anyone else ever had one and can tell me how long to stay off the bike?
We have a carer come in for respite time on Thursday afternoons so i normally try a 3 hour ride ... looks like I'l go for a walk instead if it stays dry
