Speaking of racing, does anyone fancy it tonight? I was painfully of the pace on Tuesday when I raced last. For a brief moment of self reflection afterwards I even considered doing a block on trainer road. But I pulled myself back from the abyss and I hope doing a couple of races plus velodrome training and it should come back.
Sorry Tommy I was too late home from work to race last night, but Thursdays should usually be a good night for me moving forward (Wednesdays also).

Still waiting for a good race series to appear at a convenient time on those days - I'm sure something will start soon that we can get involved with.

My current highly structured "training plan" is to do one proper race per week, and maybe one workout (my current favourite is one called "Arise"), one 2 hour plus outdoor ride at the weekend and then any other time I get I will just jump on Zwift and do an hour with the C.Cadence bot at circa 2.5w/kg.

To be fair it all sounds a lot more organised than what I’ve got going on at the moment…

I worked late Wednesday and was too tired yesterday to contemplate racing. I need some order in my life! Hopefully a series comes up soon.

In general Thursdays aren't bad for me but just working late a lot this week. Any one planning to race today or tomorrow?

I'm guessing there aren't many new race series as no one will have wanted to compete with wtrl

@mjd1988 As I mentioned upthread, I’m doing the BRT Masters race at 7:30 tonight. Entrants are a bit thin on the ground ATM but there’s at least one other entrant in your (whippersnappers) 30-39 class!

I doubt @Whorty will have a better evening than me!

We met on the start line - me and TWO lovely ladies! Then we all got hot and sweaty, there was loads of heavy breathing, and I finished about quarter an hour before they did.😳 I’m not even sure if they finished off together! 🤣
