I’d like to join the B’s if there’s space but if we end up with too many riders I can swap over to the TTT’s on thursdays.
I can feel some power coming back with a PB up Leith today but boy does my V02 need some HIT work. Then a few short crits and a Bologna to get race ready.

While the idea of a pool of riders making two teams is great "in principle" I'm not sure some of our solid C's want to be riding with Mid to top B's from what has been said in the past.

I'm still technically a C, and as the first race is a TTT and I'm not great at those I can't see me getting bumped up then. I'm definitely at risk on the second race though!

I'd obviously rather stay in C as long as possible to help CCC get points, but happy to ride one of the B teams too to make up the numbers as required. If we all race at the same time slot then much easier to switch between teams.

I’m up for ZRL in a B team at the 19:30 slot (or similar). Will be off the pace to begin with but hopefully getting more competitive by the end of the series 🙂

Two teams at the same time slot with one manager doing the selection sounds like the best option to me 👍

Going on the fact that they have the experience communicating with the organisers and already being captains. Personally my vote would go to Nick or Michael for manager. That’s if we’re having a vote, and assuming they’d be willing to do it of course.

Alternately maybe you two guys could share the load between you?

Yes sorry I meant 2 B teams. I assumed there’s enough riders in ccc to make up that team without having to juggle it about.

Having said that I know there’s a lot of guys who are generally in B but are in C (or lower) at present. So I don’t know how things stand in general. I guess if everyone who wants to race says so, and also maybe say which category they want to race in. That would be a good start?

Very happy for those who normally rode in B, but are currently in C/D to ride down a level if they feel they need more practice to get back to full fitness, but obviously we are going to look to give first choice of slots to those who are likely to be racing in C for the whole season - it's only fair.

Having said that, there may well be a few races where we in C are short on numbers this season, as although we still have the same number of people in the squad, some of us are now only able to make a limited number of dates when previously they were available every week - one of them being myself, as I am no longer working from home every day and I'd still be on my commute even with the 19:30 timeslot.

I won't be able to make most Tuesday night's but I'd be up for signing up for the B squads and if it turns out that I'm free on any of the Tuesday race nights I can let you guys know and I'd be happy to race in a team if there's a slot free (obviously not suggesting that I take the place of a regular team member if you have full teams though)

Work is a bit more intense at the moment so don't know if I could devote much time to it to be honest. Could definitely try and help out
