The one difficulty I have with the neo bike is the wide top tube, seen a few videos of people with much less chunky thighs than I complaining of constant rubbing. I'm not sure of anywhere that you can test that. The q factor is another unknown as I know that's higher on the wattbike, but don't really understand how that would affect me.

Do like the idea of access to mechanics etc but not sure if that holds true for northern Ireland (in fact the shipping may change the relative costs exponentially).

I have a bit of thigh rub when pedalling low power and slowly. Once cadence and power go up then it disappears.

I think the newer atom was a compelling proposition but the recent price increase and lower prices on the NEO shift the balance in the latters favour. You will be happy with either but if you get the atom and only beat me by seconds in a race then know now that I will NOT accept the result 😁

But I will 🤣

I think wattbike still do an NHS discount of 100 quid which flips scales a little too. Must measure the width of my current toptube and work out how annoying it would be. Realistically they are all much more accurate than my kickr snap so I may never beat you!

Son no. 2 did OK, not great but not bad either. The weather was awful.
I don't know young Noah Starbuck, he completed and probably did himself proud in the Junior men. Well done lad 4min45secs :okay:

Much pride from the club for a member to taking part in the nationals

Did a race earlier today, and the new pack dynamics was used. Seemed much smoother, less shooting from left to right, easier to hold the position in the group, and sticky draft didn't seem to be a problem for once. As a first ride using this for me I'm going success ... it was a flat course so be interesting what it's like Tuesday on Yorkshire (assuming WTRL turn the feature on).

I've just done a race using it too, much improved. I believe that it has only been rolled out in London at the moment so it will be back to the old graphics on Tuesday with riders crashing through each other.

...also rolled out in Watopia.

was wondering this, did seem to be a subtle difference; front of the group very spread out instead of a the usual trident at the front and rapid turnover at the front. didn't feel terrible anyway but will pay more attention next time. I did a reasonably flat race but the groups were huge

Great stuff. Fire away with any questions, we were all new once! 👍
Cheers, and thanks for the likes :-)

I might need some assistance actually. Tried firing the whole thing up this morning. HRM paired automatically and so did the bike with cadence and power but once I started the ride Zwift wasn't picking up the cadence/power/speed. Any ideas what could be causing the issue?
