You've not come across such a bunch of indecisive blokes
Being decisive, Tuesday is the only evening I'm free!

My dad once told me that he asked his grandpa how he survived the war. The answer was: 'Never be the first. Never be the last. Never volunteer for anything'. Clearly, I forgot about the third rule today

Anyways, poll on the time slot: https://doodle.com/poll/qkipvmz7v8vbzde2?utm_source=poll&utm_medium=link
It's normally poor @bridgy lumbered with organising the meet up races ... I recon he owes you a beer or 2 if you take over that task

What will need to happen is before you can invite people, they have to follow you on Zwift - it's a quirk of the platform that you can only invite people to a meetup if they follow you.

Another quirk is when you pick a route, you may have to add an extra km on the distance as it the finish banner doesn't always allow for the lead in. But that's a bit hit and miss to be fair and not that important as we often just pick the winner as first over the line, and if it's a sprint finish and close we all claim to have won (another quirk of Zwift that what you see on your screen may not be what others see )

And in a race, be prepared for a bit of friendly banter (I think the ausie's call it sledging) from @BurningLegs and @mjd1988 .... I wouldn't do it personally, but they are bad boys

I don't mind setting up the meetup if it's easier having done it before- I also have no problem with anyone else doing though :okay:

Yeah flat maybe isn't the best idea as I don't want you guys to catch a cold because of me flying by.

You can start on a MTB

Damn, so disappointed to have to have a flat course I love hills ...

Champs-Elysées?

I suppose we have 4 weeks before the week that Christmas lands on so we could have 3 races. A pan flat, a rolling course and then a mountain stage.

Points for each finishing position and tot them up at the end of the mini-series for the overall victor!

If 10 ride then you could do 10 points for the win and 1 point for last and just change this for riders entered - 12 entered, 12 for the win etc?

I don't mind doing the spreadsheet unless we have an expert on here who has done it previously...^_^

Just an idea but maybe a way to please everyone and make it interesting. The winner receives my used mankini and has to post a photo of them modelling it with a Santa hat on

Week 1 - Yorkshire UCI Course (2 laps) - a nice rolling course
Week 2 - Tempus Fugit (2 Laps) - out and back so if riders are dropped you can wave as you pass them the other way lol
Week 3 - Muir and the Mountain - brutal final course for the climbers

I like to call it "Le Tour de Splitters"

7:45pm - Tuesday nights. There all sorted. @bridgy send out the invites
