Well done @Whorty. I suffered graphics problems throughout the race but especially the first lap when every few seconds, for a few seconds, all the riders disappeared leaving just riderless bikes racing! It was very difficult to work out where I was. I managed to stay with the lead group until the first KoM when the graphics got the better of me and I was dropped. Managed to hang on to a few other groups on the way round only fading on the last lap. Very happy just to have finished considering the dreaded Covid had wiped me out yesterday. Nose started running like a tap after 1½ laps and my lungs didn't feel 100%. Over the worst now and looking forward to Wednesday!

I saw the technical issues ... seemed to be effecting loads .... 1 minute you was with me in the group, next just vanished. As you say, riders flashing on and off all over the place. Thankfully I was ok though.

Had a good ride .. the climb was hard, so maybe a minute or so of effort, but just sat in the group otherwise, winding up some of the other guys with no sense of humour  Should have won the sprint really, got it totally wrong. A good blast though.

Lol .... one of the chaps took offence that I could type and ride

Big group, relatively flat course, I was sitting there at about 180 watts for most of it. Only had to work on the little punchy climb.

Next week's is innsbruck.... legsnapper will be interesting!

Morning chaps! Finally feeling human again. I think we'll call it the lost weekend.

I see I've missed lots of sprint bantz whilst I've been away! Has the smack talk started for tomorrow yet?
In a hotel in Amsterdam ....

Tomorrow may be a smidge harder for me to podium than last week .... but, meh, glory or bust :boxing::gun:

Team is second in the DBR league, and yours truly is second in GC. Next week is Innsbruck ... I assume 3 laps for us C riders. Hoping I can hold on up the Legsnapper each time and gain some more points :okay: I can see the climb thinning the lead group out a lot though, more so than even Yorkshire did.

I see newcomers well and truly secured 2nd position in league

I must try and drop more Watts at the start to have a chance of being nearer the front group.

Im finding Zwift is treating my weight/size whilst in a pack like a barn door, if I ease off, thinking I'll float along I instantly go backwards. Thus requiring 300+ Watts to catch/keep up.

Next week 600-800 Watt start :okay:
