I'll have to do it tomorrow no matter how I'm feeling

Get the excuse in now. :okay: I had the same for stage 2. Hoping for a better stage 3. Good luck with yours.

Couple of my friends made a rookie error and got caught out with a last minute Zwift update when they tried to do stage 3 last night and then were late joiners after the start.

They run a mix of all stages for a couple of days instead of just one, basically. Those events are usually not as well attended because there are more of them so better to do the “main” events if possible.

Listen to your body @Peter Salt - seems to me that it’s politely telling you that you did too much! My advice (I know you didn’t as for it but you’ve got the measure of us now, surely?) would be to ease it back in and don’t go doing back to back rides or anything too intense straight away. Build up to it 🙂

Good advice is always welcome! Yours as well ;)

But jokes aside: Yes, I'm definitely easing into it. Was able to do about 1.2W/kg for 40 min. two weeks ago, 2.1 last week and 2.6 yesterday. Also had a physio appointment and doing a rehabilitation/strengthening programme :okay:

Try and stay sharp before the crunch points tonight lads. Remember no matter much you’re feeling it. It’s less effort to get near the front before the climb or sprint than it is to try and make up the ground afterwards when you’ve been gapped.

Don’t worry about where you end up. Just don’t let the bastard next to you beat you to the line!
