A bit off-topic and a really noobish question: How to use Strava on a bike ride? Do I just download the app and press record when I start riding outdoors? Without any sensors/power meters/head unit what will it record? Time and distance? Map? Elevation?

Thinking about getting the bike out tomorrow for a test ride. Can't look at it anymore just standing there.

Yes in a nutshell.

If you put an accurate weight in it’ll give you an estimated power number and calorie burn too. But neither are really accurate.

The thing you need to get used to is remembering to press record at the start of a ride and stop and save at the end.

I was 36 when I started on bkool and joined here. I think I was the youngest at the time. 6 years… It’s amazing just how much shite you can talk when you really put your mind to it!

So here's the deal with the Club:

• Now been created - called it "CC Splitters". Will send out a bunch of invites to everyone ASAP.
• I'm able to make a whole bunch of you Club Owners so that you can edit settings, create events, etc. Just tell me who wants to have it and it'll get done.
• However from reading a bit further on the Zwift forums, it turns out that until you also get Club access on your Companion App, it will still regard you as just a normal member. Once you get access, only then will the admin rights kick in.
• Note also that the Clubs access is apparently being rolled out by device, not by person - e.g. if you have Companion installed on two iPhones and three iPads, then there's a chance one of them might have access already even if the others don't.
• My iPhone is really old and when I try to edit the club colours (which have nothing to do with any jerseys BTW), the app crashes. So for now we are dark blue and light blue which was the default when I created the club. Someone else will eventually get admin rights and be able to change this.
• The other background pictures and logo I was able to change from the default, but once again that can be changed by others (although I quite like the logo... thought it very appropriate)
• Erm...
• That's it.

As a lowly Android user I expect to be well down the pecking order when it comes to "club" rollout. (They seem to regard Android as an add-on rather than the most ubiquitous mobile device OS. )

If anyone hasn't gotten an invite yet, then please shout - either I've completely missed you (possibly cause I only know you by your forum name, not your real name on Zwift) or you aren't following me and so the app won't allow me to pick you.

As a test, I've made @<Tommy> an owner, but as I said, until you get Club access on your device, it doesn't allow you to do anything (or at least that's what I've read). Anyone else who wants to be made an owner in advance is welcome to post on here and I'll update the roster page. And also if anyone does find out that they DO already have Club access, please also post as that'll be a good chance to test things.
