It would be a good season opener! You'd end up with half the league upgraded

Ain't that the truth? My first race was a crit city Bell course and I had no idea what I could do so just went all out. (I'd had enough after 3 laps but somehow kept going). At the end, ZP gave me a "95% 20 minute power" of 3.21 W/kg which put me right at the bottom of B on the basis of one 24 minute race.

That was deeply frustrating and I had to endure a B race (where I got lapped) round the volcano circuit in order to bring it back down to something more realistic.

Categorising people on the basis of W/kg from short races seems flawed IMHO. :cursing:

So, did my Neo Bike test today. I like it!

Felt very smooth. I thought the rigidity might be a problem, but didn't really notice it. In fact, at first when I started to pedal and put some power down it felt a little like it was moving beneath me, but again I think that's just getting used to the riding position.

Acceleration felt good, and it seemed to be responsive when I got out of the saddle.

Gear change buttons were a little odd, but I think I'd quickly get used to them.

But all in all, I was impressed and I think I feel a splurge coming on!

TdZ Stage 5 (Richmond) time of 51:43 please @IrishAl

Sorry @alex_cycles ! I know I will have a target on my back during the next series now!!!
Don't sweat it. You gave me fair warning of your intentions, but I'm more into my training program now and it's hard enough that I couldn't contemplate redoing stage 2. (I actually had to take some breaks during a workout today, which I deemed a better option than quitting. Just finished week 4 of 6 of FTP builder).

Not a bad time for stage 5. Must have been quite hard work with fewer people about.:okay:
