Jokes aside - pretty sure that even the stock TT is quicker then the fastest road bike or Tron (when not drafting).

Dang it... Just missed the TT by about a minute and late join wasn't enabled. Possibly another reason why the Strava segment time would be a better idea?

Will probably set something up for tomorrow. Likely around 18:30. Shout if you want an invite.
You can't have late join AND race results or it wouldn't work - people could start the race part-way through

Sounds like you have earned a Belgian beer 👍

Check out the Beer thread to see some of the beers I tried....
All in the name of research.... :okay:

Berty did it on a Tron bike-I think?

I had you all worried for the first 20secs

Paced it reasonably well, legs felt quite heavy for the first half maybe two thirds of the event. Seeing my time expand over J.Offey did give me a lift to keep pushing

Im not sure what happened at the start but you 3 disappeared up the road and I was well back. I managed to reel you in slowly but I think having you in my sights made me go too hard early on and I paid for it later on. I pushed up the Aquaduct but then popped. Saw you fly by and tried to keep the gap about 10 seconds but I was goosed when I got to the lumpy bits.

Impressive ride sir, and very well paced :okay:

I saw your numbers jump when going up the climb and you gained 3 or 4 secs, but I also spotted a big dip before the climb. I've seen this scenario quite often on Zwift and real riding. Its usually the last swan song effort before, like you said J.offey going pop :B)

The lumpy bits, not being my favourite do allow me to pulse in effort which for allows a little recovery on the small descents

Berty, your bike does look very much like a Tron to me?

Even more impressive win :notworthy:

Lee said earlier in the thread he changed to TT bike in the pen before the start - it's a known bug that if you do that, although you can see the bike you changed to, it looks different to the riders around you. Exactly the same happened with Michael in Tuesday's race but in his case he changed from TT bike to road bike and it looked to everyone else like he was still on a TT bike.

I've wondered in the past about exploiting this in the ZRL and making everyone else think you're on a mountain bike or something to mess with their minds
