Average will be 74 miles a day, with a high of 87 (Day 3) and a low of 54 (Day 12), although that day does do the big climb that you'll remember from Etape Loch Ness, so it's only fair that's a shorter day.

Brilliant. I did it in 2010 with my brother. We B&B'd it and carried our luggage but it was an awesome experience. Like you, we took 14 days. We made a website for it. I'll dig out the link later in case there is anything helpful in it for you.

Found it. Not looked at it for ages. Ian and I had only been riding about a year when we did it.

I need to get back to regular Zwifting. Slightly under the weather and busy, taking its toll on my enthusiasm.

Hoping to go on a few days tour soon with the missus in Norfolk, should re invigorate my cycling interest
I've managed to finally turn things around and have a few weeks without getting ill. Trying to find the time to increase overall volume at the minute. Maybe I'll go outdoor this weekend? Missus wants to do a trail run for exercise - so I may as well take her somewhere and do a ride while she's prancing around.

Is that triggered by pollen like hay fever?

I have been sniffling and wheezing for about a month now. I thought that I was coming down with a cold but nothing more than a runny nose and a sore throat has developed. Very odd! I might even have a mild dose of Covid? I have caught it a few times and am up to date with the jabs so I probably have enough immunity to keep any further infections mild.
I am beginning to think that I did have Covid, or something similar because those symptoms finally went after about 6 weeks despite pollen levels still being pretty high.

I have been feeling a lot better and getting a bit of ooomph back.

I'd got a chit from Mrs M to go out with my club this week on their monthly Sunday-morning jaunt to Llangollen and back. But the main fella who runs the ride can't make this weekend so is pushing it back to the following weekend (which I can't make). I think I'm going to go out and ride the route on my own, which will mean I can start as early as I want (and I'll get better training without any wheels to shelter behind). It'll be just over 200km, headwind out / tailwind back, probably a bit wet... character building!

I had it recently, definitely felt like hay fever but lingered a good while. I know someone who recently got long COVID and it's really knocked them so really trying not to go too hard whilst still in recovery phase but it's hard.

Have you tried zwift or mywhoosh yet?

I’m currently on a Zwift holiday but considering turning it back on and doing a few miles in the evenings. What routes or courses do folk recommend or is it just bum in the saddle time?

If using the free 25Km early in the month, I prefer to choose hilly routes, where I'll cover less distance for my session. If trying to be really efficient, choose a heavy unsuitable bike for climbing! Routes like...
Sea To Tree (~300 feet for ~3.1Km to route end)
Grand Central (~400 feet for ~2.5Km to route summit)
Ven Top (~300 feet for ~3.1Km to near junction with Petit KOM, then gets steeper)

Alternatively, close to 25Km of your free monthly allowance will get you through a quartet of Zwift Insider Tiny Races on Saturdays, providing you join next race promptly after passing finishing line or quitting after final race line. 4 back-to-back sprint races, with quartets starting at 1000/1600/2200 BST, you will be DQed from zwiftpower league if you "snipe" (miss race 1, or skip a race later in quartet and then return for next race in quartet). Often brutal yet popular, this week's courses are very long and will push weaker pens to finish on time with little recovery compared to a typical quartet. Always has an article ahead of weekend at https://zwiftinsider.com/tiny/

For a short one off blast, this week is the start of a new series of the TT Club, one 4Km lap of Mech Isle.

If you feel like riding in a grup just select whatever your preferred robopacer is doing. If you want to ride solo but see busy roads then Tempus Fugit seems to always be busy. Or just ride the routes you haven't completed yet for extra XP, if you're into that.

I am slowly ticking off routes, I am getting round to the longer ones and have not got a lot of enthusiasm for 2hr plus rides, but this was a good ride with lots of sprint opportunities if that's your thing.
