There's LOADS of Crit races - one or more every half hour this evening, plus there's the "Zwift Crit Racing Club" races which are very couple of hours through the day and hourly in the evening from 5.40pm

Really? Are they called crit race? I didn’t see any the other day 🙈. I’m probably not looking hard enough 😂

Just watched GCN video of Andrew Feather and his fitness test and charity hill climb against Tadej Pogacar.

What an athlete, capable of mixing it with the world's best climbers in the pro peleton, except Poggie obviously

I enjoyed the video, and he obviously is impressively fit, but I wish that they hadn't kept going on about how he 'beat Pog'. He didn't, at least in the usual sense of riding faster! He did beat all of the other riders, and he managed to avoid being caught by a chatty Pog doing what for him was a fun local ride!

Managed to hit my target of 1000 calories burnt in just over a week, Dun Dash in Scotland (Zwift unlocked Stage 1), Croissant in France, Zwift unlocked Race: Stage 2, Climb portal Cote de Pike and this morning Group ride : TRIBE Box Hill Brunch.

Really enjoyed the group ride - first one I've done in ages - I have found I do ride harder in a group ride than a free ride so I must do more of them.

I enjoyed the race even though I had the Pogacar/Vingegaard experience with a guy sat on my wheel for ages - I blasted up one of the inclines and dropped him in the end !

The climb portal was brutal, sections at 25% max with the trainer setting on 100% difficulty meant some standing up efforts - errr actually a lot of standing up ^_^

All in all not too shaby for a 67 year old powered by a double heart bypass.

This next week I should be able to do a couple of longer lower intensity rides - although I do get a perverse enjoyment out of the climb portals ^_^ -

Exactly. Good to remember that Poggie's zone-2 is something like 320w or maybe more these days and he ride hours with that, like you said it his local fun ride. I guess that video gives scientific value or at least personal value to Andrew Feather.

Had a prompt on zwiftpower site earlier to give the ZRS plugin new API permissions, lots of stuff happening in a new zwift dot com window, now settled down... But no sign of the plugin doing anything at zwiftpower for now for me.

I find the pace partners a good way to get a lower intensity ride in. Sticking the the pacer w/kg means I stop that urge to ‘race’ everyone around me 🙄😆

I’m not a climber, but I also get a strange pleasure from the climb portals.

Great riding. Keep it up

I've just maxxed out the upgrades on the S-Works Tarmac SL8.

I guess I move to a climbing bike next - which one is the best to upgrade?
