I think I’m going to go for 40 hours on the Cadex so that I can do TTTs without being on inferior kit.
I'm doing it now. Noting how much difference the upgrades make in my Z2 rides on Tempus Fugit - which are quite stable ~200W. No upgrades was averaging 38.4km/h, stage 1 took it to 38.6, stage 2 made no difference as it's a flat course, and stage 3 does 38.7. I reckon a full upgrade will take it close to 39.0. In comparison, a fully upgraded Zwift TT does 38.5. Doesn't seem like a big gap, but every second counts I guess.I think I’m going to go for 40 hours on the Cadex so that I can do TTTs without being on inferior kit.
Those will equate to quite big gaps over an hours TT event
I watched a YouTube video a few days ago where the presenter explained the secret to happy...I can't think of many things worse than doing an hour's TT on Zwift!

That sounds like a plan. The only trouble is that something about my setup isn't right so I am suffering numbness when on the turbo bike. I have been moderately to severely affected when doing just 1 hour, so 2+ hours won't be advisable until I sort the problem out.I've managed 2 hours at Z2 watching films.
I was thinking a few days ago that I have not been watching as many films as I used to. When it is late I usually stick to TV series because I only have to stay awake for 45-60 minutes rather than potentially 2-3 hours.Erg mode is great for films because you just have to turn the pedals. Not looking at the Zwift screen prevents the clock-watching that makes time dilate!
Anyone ever done this? Amazed I've never heard of it
