I haven't had a proper puncture in many years. I run tubeless or innertubes with sealant inside.

Daughter had a slow puncture in the peak district, but an extra squirt of sealant inside the valve sorted it for rest of the day

Until 2 weeks ago I'd done 36000 miles without every having to stop at the side of the road with a puncture. Bike was set up tubeless from new and I've never changed it and probably never will . Large gash the other week so put a tube in yes it was messy but not to bad of a price to pay

A big training week completed stages 3 ,4 and 6 of the last zwift series as the club I ride ZRL run a GC for these things , Alex's Friday smash and club ladder race the same day . An imperial century outdoor ride and another 20 and 10 milers outdoors for a 250 mile week .
The reason I'm doing all this zwifting is because I don't have the mental fortitude to do workouts and I'm trying to get fit for May when I'm off to ride up Mont Ventoux and I want to enjoy it rather than endure it

I did them in order of how much I will use them...

1st SL8
2nd CadEx Tri
3rd Aethos (ongoing)

I just thought I'd signed up to Glyph Heights and was surprised when I ended up riding Ocean Lava Cliffside. Turns out this was a much more suitable route for my current state than the climbier one. A happy accident. Still got some Aethos credits, but maybe saved a bit of energy to fight the cold I've picked up.

Yeah sl8 to full power and you are basically set for anything except TT. I've had another cold (seems everyone has been hit multiple times) and just turning the legs to keep a 24 week streak alive and get a little closer to upgrading the cadex tri. It is funny how these things motivate even though they are basically nonsensical.

Of the halo bikes I will likely target the Tron as it remains the most iconic of them and I can't help but think zwift might make it more powerful again at some point in the future.

I refuse to hacve anything to do with Specialized, even virtually. Management are too pro the tangoed tw@t, not to mention they are bullies - never forget them trying to close a business called Roubaix down, as if they own the name FFS.
Have upgraded 2 Canyon Aeroads ( bought the fancy paint job one and then discovered it needed upgrading) and now at L4 on the Cadex.
The Aeroad is only marginally slower than the SL8.
12.5 hour week, 453 kms including 115 kms outdoors yesterday, Zwift Games on Tuesday and TTT on Thursday.

With that type of mileage you will easily cope with Ventoux. Can get very windy near the top.

I hope the weather is kind to you. 👍

Ventop is a pretty accurate representation of the gradients on the climb from Bedouin. It's tough up through the forest with lots of long straights at 10-13% before you reach Chalet Reynard. If not windy then the final push to the top isn't too bad. Remember after the final right hander, bear left up the pedestrianised slope to the TdF finish

Performance by Upgrade Stage
Like all frames in Zwift, the Concept Z1 can be upgraded in five stages, with each upgrade resulting in a performance improvement. The Concept Z1’s upgrade stages are as follows:
Ride 550km, pay 400,000 Drops for an aero upgrade
Ride 1050km, pay 800,000 Drops for a weight reduction
Ride 1600km, pay 1,200,000 Drops for a drivetrain efficiency improvement
Ride 2150km, pay 2,600,000 Drops for an aero upgrade
Ride 2650km, pay 5,000,000 Drops for a weight reduction

I've decided im going to swap to Tron upgrade path instead.

See you on a crappy Zwift bike 🤣

I'm currently upgrading the BMX, Zwift TT and Zwift Mountain bike so I can start on the Tron upgrade
The TT is useful for pootle days, or to tick off new routes, as it's time that counts and not distance so I don't have to puch hard.
The Mountain Bike is actually the fastest to upgrade, especially if you do the 'see-saw' tactic on Mountain mash route
BMX can go about 33-34kph on Feuago Flats if you get in a group so worth doing - plus, it's the BMX
Once all three are upgraded I'll be riding the Tron almost exclusively except when I'm in ZRL races where I'll use the fully upgraded SL8
I miss ridning my Tron lol
