I don't really understand why wattbike can't have it given tacx/Garmin have had it for the neobike for ages. I mean money is probably the answer realistically but still
It's really odd, because for ages Wattbike were the only smartbikes to have the on screen gear display indicator on Zwift, despite loads of bikes being technically able to send that data to Zwift. It's almost like Zwift's engineers have ADHD - they sort something out for one bit of hardware and then move on to their next project without realising that they've still got to roll it out for all bikes.

Over 60 in the field, that's bigger than I've gotten used to in ZRL of late. Preparing myself for pain it's a pretty brutal course

It was a harder race than the ZRL I got used to. Probably because we were up against similar teams but with some of their B dev riders in as well because they fit into Amethyst. vELO said 24th for me so I tried to beat 20th. Finished 19th but no segment points so got bumped to 20th on points. Quite happy with that after a week out of racing for illness. TTR next week, then I hope to do slightly better in the next points race.

Doing Stage 3 of the Zwift Games at 9:10 today. Only 41 signed up so far - bit different to the 300+ I have seen in the last 2 (which were at Prime Time).

Which is the correct thing to do in a points race. Wish ZRL did it.
I did the ZP setup for DRS, which is why all 12 races were set up on ZP several days ago so people see their results immediately.
Have to say it was great to have the result immediately. The field is also insanely well grouped, although feeling the results of that today.

The first half went OK for me - the second half not so much! I got top 10 on the first KOM (with Bram and Michael just ahead), but got dropped on the second KOM. I was SOOOO painfully close to latching back onto the group, and then they hit the sprint and were gone! From there it was a solo ride for the last 3km to retain my position. Hard race! Well done Bram & Michael! Looks like as a team we finished 3rd (just!). Should be a good, close series...

On DRS last night the team came 3rd despite our strongest rider having a PC crash on the downside of Titans. Personally I came 16th over the line, but 9th on points - pretty chuffed with that given I've been a mess chest health wise since December. I came second on both Titan and the sprint but hundredths of a second (I must try harder lol).

The big 'win' for me personally though is no asthma attack. It feels like the first time in years that a sprint hasn't resulted in an incident. My new meds are clearly working much better than what I was on before.

I still climb like a brick and got dropped on the KoM, but no amount of asthma meds can help my inability to climb haha

@mjd1988 you'll be pleased to know that I finished with a much lower w/kg than all the other finishers around me  What I lack in climbing ability I make up for in wheelsucking :rofl:
