Anyone else been drops farming on the sprint section of the Mayan8 route?

Nipped on yesterday (after seeing it on a you tube video) and the section was packed. Got myself a few extra drops whilst pootling in zone 2 for a hour.

By all accounts Zwift are ok with this. I'm guessing that with the new bikes etc due to drop (see what I did there?) they are keen for riders to have lots of spare drops to buy the new kit and show it off.

I'll be on again later to get me a few more

It's active until the 20th apparently - as you say, a nice community feel, lots of chats going on. With the new kit coming around, Zwift have given us a chance to get a drops boost. Hundreds are on the route at any one time, it's very popular

Yeah I'm a bit late to the party, I think some people have literally made millions! Few hundred thousand just to pay for the TT upgrades will do me

I did an hour of drops farming on Tuesday and another on Thursday and managed to get over half a million drops in total. Probably could have got more if I did the teleporting trick (I just U-turned after the banner and cycled back) or put in more effort than the Z2-3 I did, but I wasn't too bothered. I only wanted enough to afford my level 5 climbing bike upgrade.

I think I've farmed about a million or so which goes towards upgrading the Tron (once I've upgraded 3 Zwift bikes). I do it on the BMX which I'm working to upgrade, so 2 birds with one stone.
I don't use the teleporting which many seem to do - I just keep looping round, although teleporting apparently lets you farm almost twice as many drops.

Completely missed this. But I dont think I could be bothered looping around a course. I suppose I could set up a bot to ride endlessly to do it for me

I finally got level 4 Aethos today. I've been mostly outside recently apart from ZRL. You get XP for outside but not drops or bike upgrade credits. Only 4000 metres climbing and 750kilodrops to go. That might take a long time to get if I'm outside more now.
