Do you know your velo cat? The DIRT guys I race with now are always happy to have new recruits. We have a few teams at the 7:30 Tuesday slot.

Gold score around 1100 . Like I say I committed to this round of WTRL ZRL and don't want to leave the team a man short . So I will keep this in mind for the future 👍

I prefer DRS but my team raced a bit late this round. Do enjoy the general coverage of ZrL through zwiftinsider and the likes of Nathan krakes recon videos but DRS has always been better run and more responsive to feedback and change

Hmm had hrm issues so got new hrm but it also isn't connecting. Reinstalling the app to see if that works. Turns out that takes forever...

So WTRL have gone to the trouble of calculating the points for the race they cancelled so in my team case we can see how much we could have won by 🤣. Then I check the points and there wrong 🤣🤣. I scored more FAL points then a teammate who passed 5 banners in front of me and was only a couple of places behind me on the others and I discovered on the last sprint before the finish 4 random riders gained extra "bonus" points on this sprint and I was one of them 🤣

Bloody glad of that - I didn't fancy chasing gold riders up those two early KoMs

Yesterday was the final event in the Midlands Hill Climb League. It was Gorcott hill (again) and hosted by Solihull CC. I beat my PB by 5 seconds and came 6th overall on the day, second in the age-adjusted MHCL riders - this meant I finished the year in second place. The winner was Steven Prince who is ranked #1 in the 50-54 National category.

I've enjoyed this League and raced 8 of the 10 fixtures (top 4 results count). I'd recommend it for 2027 to anyone in the area.
