The two head honchos are away at the moment so no decision has been taken yet, but there are only really two options to choose from...

1) For the Affected Leagues to exclude that race altogether (otherwise someone who was able to get into the race could more easily win the KoM jersey than someone who didn't - as there were three KoM segments in it).

2) Restage the race at a later date.

I think it much more likely that option 1 will be taken because the time after the end of the series will be needed to get ready for the next series.
But no decision has been made on that yet.

Atlantic in the morning worked perfectly so is completely unaffected. As did the later USWest races. Just EMEA got borked.

Update to add: Looks like both 1 AND 2 are being considered

Yeah, we've been discussing this on Discord. For races where hardly anyone got into the pens it's obvious to exclude it, but for races like ours where most people got in (even those mildly affected like me) it's a bit more borderline. But I can understand for KOM points reasons like Alex mentioned why it might be better just to do a mass exclude on all EMEA results.

Ironically it's our rival team (who themselves lost at least one very good rider when they got thrown out of the pens with a few minutes to go) who should be campaigning to keep the results, as they won last night and if they win the last two rounds, they'll beat us overall. Without last night and with only the double-header to go, we'll have already sealed victory!

So... An odd thing happened yesterday. I was trying to log in to do a workout and the app took an awful long to load. I've read about the server issues here so that must be why...

But! When my app eventually logged in yesterday... I saw a bunch of entirely new routes... The Watopia map was expanded and there were more than 10 mew routes of various distances - judging by the names they were California themed.

What was that all about?

I would guess some programmer launched the new routes in the upgrade early and then they tried to correct the mistake

Hi all, hope everyone is going well.

On your point Pete, I was listening to Eric Schalange Zwift Insider on the Wattage Cottage podcast and he was discussing test riding some of the new routes about a week ago. Looks like you got the VIP pass?!?

Ah well, OK. Should have taken a screenshot. I reckon there were 12-15 of them. There was definitely one that was about 33k and called California Rolling or something of that sort - and very flat. The longest one I can remember was just under 70k.
