56 years young and I ride a Thorn Club Tour with beard and sandals;)
and a Raleigh max FS2 MTB

Are they extra's or standard on the Thorn?

Mine are
Alu Alan Road Bike
Claud Butler Dalesman Tourer
54 Claud Butler New All Rounder Road Bike
Basso Road Bike
57 Raleigh Lenton Single speed
Muddy Fox Comp Courier
Soens ex track

and I love 'em all but Mrs BG s rather less enthusiastic - I sold hers to make way for the Alan (+1 for the cod liver oil capsules  )

Blimey, there's a lot of old geezers here! ;)

I'm 50- (by 18 months).

I have three bikes now:

Specialized hack bike (in England)
Scott Sportster P3
Trek 4400 MTB

Hopefully before too long (when I'm 50-ish ) Specialized Langster and a Scott Speedster S50.

Until then, though, I'll enjoy the rest of my youth!

I`ve got an appointment at the doctor`s tomorrow (blood test my GP wants me to have). Weather looks good, so I might well cycle there....usually freaks the other patients out when I pitch up in all the gear, particularly as most of them don`t look at all well. All I`ve got to do is decide which bike to use.

love my 1980's steel 653 Ribble cannot conceive of getting rid of it ever.
i also have a Massi (steel ) Just built my first Aluminium frameset and pleased with that . I hope I will still be cycling into my 70's even if I have to convert my bikes to trikes lol
Get yourself a nice road bike and open up another fantastic cycling experience

A Coventry Eagle and

Pollo Wayfarer folder (20" wheels) made in Poland, looks like it was built from spare parts from a tank.

(I think the Eagle is a bit big for me).

Perhaps the bikes are nearly as old as I am. ;)

None of you lot do, but you are.:biggrin:
Anyway, I have a Dawes Galaxy for touring and longer day trips, a Raleigh Jaguar Pioneer for utility and short leisure trips and a Trek hybrid for use when the others are in for repair. I do feel like getting another bike, this time with rohloff hub, do you think I should:?::blush:

not until you are old enough to appreciate it and look after it properly.

I'm assuming you are not yet a SAGA person.

I only started cycling three years ago, so have no old warhorses to display. I started with a Subway 1, then a year later a Dawes Discovery 601 and now two years on at 51, I have this, built for me by Lifecycle at Bildeston. I've only had it a few weeks and I love it.

Neck problems and personal preference mean no drops for me.
