Bicycle related tattoos

Does it hurt - I am probably past this mid-life business but often wondered...

Suppose it's down the individuals pain threshold... My son had one done for his 18th, just a little bit of script on his shoulder, he turnd green & nearly passed out.. A week later I was in the same chair having one done on the back of my neck, Roger - the tattooist had to wake me up when he had finished

The area around the kidney's hurt me the most. Closely followed by my elbows, but I did do both at the same sitting. Oh yes, the armpit's sting a little too..

I'm getting a chain ring tattoo Tuesday afternoon - first tattoo and pretty excited about it! How dare other people have already thought of this!

I too am having the same yearning for a tattoo, finally decided what I'd like (rugby club emblem) but not decided on upper arm or lower leg placement yet.....

One thing that's worrying me, anyone I know who has had a tattoo, soon gets another, and another.........

Yes, funny you should say that whilst I always hated tattoos per se, now I have one (which i love), I have been thinking what/where next.
