I enjoyed it, but wasn't looking to buy anything. There are all sorts of cool bits and pieces, and quite a few nice bikes. Not set-up for trying them out though, so I don't know how much you can actually tell from enjoying the nice lines. It is quite huge. The rocket powered tandem was superb entertainment. OH was looking ofr an electric and disappointed at the options displayed. Not much in the way of freebies other than gels etc.

I'd go just for bike porn !

Plus you can have a good chat to the guys from Rose and hopefully they'll give you the push you need to pull the trigger

Haha Grant, true enough. My missus is begging me to buy another bike after banging on about it for weeks!!!

I think I'm gonna go anyway. At least I'm not expecting anything spectacular on the strength of this thread shouldn't be too disappointed.

I might go. Not sure yet. I don't want to turn up & find I can't test ride anything.

You can't test ride anything. There maybe an area where there are bikes to ride. But not expensive stuff. More for kids, weird bikes and those learning to ride.

I might still go, can't decide tho. Would I be better off visiting som bike shops in my new area? Maybe test riding something at Evans?

Yes if you want a mainstream bike sold by Evans

I barely looked at bikes the year I went to the NEC shows

Worth going if interested in cycle paraphernalia and sundries not sold in shops

What area are you in and what are you looking for?
