So I get to Three Bridges at 10.20, and will probably get to the stadium at about 10.45. Are you sure that's not too late? Where will we be meeting?

By the roundabout would be best.

I really love these historical vehicle rides. Even though we weren't mixing it as much with these various jalopies compared to Novembers pre 1905 machines. There are far less and some have a really good turn of speed. It was jolly fun drafting a couple of old hackney carriage vans much to the amusement of the passengers inside. As have been mentioned, Fish and Chips (& Mushy Peas) on the beach, in glorious warm sunshine.

The return was a solo effort with a very nice tailwind helping me home and even more glorious sunshine.

A fantastic day, thanks peeps. 115 fab miles.

A grand day out. I think I might have my new seatpost in almost the right position now, so it was nice to blast along at times.

Speaking of fire engines, at some point south of Crawley, there was a modern one going the other way, which blasted out a section of "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash: And it burns, burns, burns, the ring of fire
