what like sora?
so can you use either the ones on the drops or those tabs for upshifts? Or just those tabs?

Chrisz said:Levers behind the brake levers move you up the block (going from small to larger cogs), the tabs move you back down the block.
bonj said:So you can't change up from the drops, like sora then... it can't be that ALL campag's like that surely...
Chrisz said:I do - all the time! I find I can reach the thumb button very easily with my thumb - on or off the drops. Likewise, a sideways swipe of the lever is dead easy on or off the drops.
oooh god no. wouldn't like that. Need to be able to do it with the fingers - the thumb is the only opposable digit, it's a vital component of the grippability of the hand! Too much hand movement required.MajorMantra said:As Chris and I said above, you can easily reach the thumb lever from the drops. This is the system used on all Campag groupsets including the top end ones that pros are using:

Is it really like that on ALL campag shifters, or just the low end sora equivalent?
If the former then campag really are more shite than i thought, and that was quite shite anyway!

MajorMantra said:Ah Bonj, your reputation as a serious cyclist is in danger. The picture above is of an Ergo from Campag's top group and as you can see it has a thumb lever. They all have it. The Centaur group on my new bike is lighter than Ultegra and of similar quality.
