Been rubbing my eyes for a couple of days, couldn't think why.

It's that time of year again. I don't know what it is that gets to me, something does.

My wife picked up my newly-refurbished rear wheel Sunday and when I finally got to checking it last night, I found the bike shop had not re-attached the cassette or brake rotor. Wife wasn't to know, so I'm not blaming her. Back to the shop it goes tonight.

Car air freshen era are not nearly as good as they used to be!

Orrrrr............

My flatulence is especially potent today!

Either way, the next 30 minutes are likely to be unpleasant

Fitted some Shimano Atlus ST-EF51 in place of the twist grips & brake levers. Easier than expected. You can polish a turd.

So this morning my good old reliable watch decided to have a holiday.

Easy I thought, nip into town & get a couple of batteries for my old watches.

So, having a watch back knife I remove the old batteries & replace.

Ping, a battery retention screw goes into orbit. :cursing:

Ah well, still the other watch.

Battery fitted, back, after great effort, replaced adjust the watch - it's not working. :cursing:

Idea - I'll use the screw from this to fasten the battery in t'other

Battery fitted, unit working back in its case, buttons don't work!

Take back off again, try to clean buttons & C clip comes off button!!! :cursing:

I'm going back to bed! :cursing:

After an exhausting search of my desk, which didn't _quite_ require a skip, found watch #4, which of course required yet another different battery. Strolled into town, where the Maplin's manager has better eyesight than mine & managed to read the tiny writing on the packet, and purchased new battery. Case unscrewed, battery replaced & watch works. :hyper::wahhey:Curiously this is a watch I bought in a charity shop a few years back when my watch died on holiday.
