RIP. Very sad. I only met him in person once on a ride to Southend when I rode alongside him for quite a while. A true gent.

I'm totally shocked, this is so sad just as he was starting his retirement. I've met Vernon three times over the last few years, a lovely knowledgable man. We were due to meet up in May, I had so many things I wanted to talk to him about. Condolences to his family.
