we'll be in Suffolk - which is a pity because Shoeburyness is one of our favourite destinations, and the pub just a few yards from the station is the perfect end to a great day's ride.

For those with an adventurous streak, Wakering Steps, just a few miles beyond Shoebury. The Steps are the start point of a path known as 'The Broomway'. To venture on to this path is to court death, so..........don't do it. Here's why.......

We (Ian Mark tc1) got to Southend at 10.45, had some nosh then Ian and Mark rode back and I went onto Shoeburyness, it started to rain so I skipped going to see the Wakering steps and jumped on a train.

Go over the top of Kenwood, Dave - Golders Green etc...(even pass the newly refurbished Police College) See some big houses en route! A41 is ok but a bit boy racer in parts. North Circular is a dirt box.
Cannot be compared to the South Circular. At all.
