Swap Shop or Tiswas

So what was it as a kid.

Were you a young ruffian in the Tiswas camp

or

A middle class Swap Shopper???

I personally liked a mix of both although having one telly and 4 sisters it was a bit tough to get my blend till the portable tv arrived and I think tiswas had ended by then. Thought Swap Shop had better guests and pop stars on though to be fair.

I was just a very little person when it was on, I was about 5/6 I think but I roared with laughter at the Phantom Flan Flingers and I wanted to be one of those guys in the cage who got soaked when I grew up.

I usually started off watching Tiswas, because I wanted to like it, but often I'd get bored and switch over to Swap Shop. A bit like Dr Who - I'd look forward to watching it every week, then get bored and switch over to the Six Million Dollar Man.
