Just reading the Jerry Lee Lewis 'my own story' written up by Rick Bragg, in it Lewis mentions a piano player, Paul Whitehouse (no, not that one) who was a bit of a mentor to him, the author tells of a rockabilly single which has Mr Paul playing on it, just a few seconds of solo but there it is, probably the only recording featuring this pianist. Anyway I looked it up on the 'tube and there it is, and despite the fact that an awful lot of rockabilly is shïte this is actually extremely good.
