I'm a leisure / touring cyclists so rarely out locally. Stats say 1238 miles and 73892 ft climbed. Of the 49 rides the best one was Killarney National Park coming down from Moll's Gap. Great views, open road and sunshine. What more could you ask for?

I was hoping to break the 1,000 mile barrier for this year. Last year I did just over 800 which was a record for me. I am 48 miles short after todays 12 miles. The weather and a horrible cold have put a spanner in the works .

8066 km (5009 miles) with 3125 km of that commuting and utility. More than 61000 m climbed on leisure rides. Best year in terms of distance and first time I’ve cracked 5000 miles. That’s probably it for2023 unless the weather on Sunday improves. Then it all starts again…!

I was having quite a good year being on just over 7400 miles at the end of October. Then the past 2 months of bloody awful weather and a cold/chest infection at the start of December meant little more than commuting mileage and the 50k challenge rides leaving me looking at a total of about 8400 by the end of this wek.

2007 as of last night, if the rain stays away for the next half an hour, I’ll do my chores by bike today and probably add another 15 or so

Better than last year's 1554.13 miles, the Wales trip and training for it helped a bit there.

Oh and 609.53 running miles.
