When is it going to stop... Raining

We've had months of the stuff oop North in never sunny again Manchester. Slop everywhere. Sick of it.

When can I have some sunshine and slightly dry trails ? Not even touched the full suspension since about July, and the CX bike has been running road tyres and mudguards.

I feel your pain. Every time I walk the dog she comes back home plastered in muck.

I'm camping next week, and the camp site has put down hardcore at the entrance, but has asked people to minimise vehicle movement on the field due to how wet it is. I think I'll be leaving the car on the parking area. I'll be taking the CX bike with mud tyres !

Same here. All my favourite walking trails are like bogs. We are only getting the occasional dry day then back to rain for several days. It’s getting depressing and frustrating.

Apparently we're getting 3 weeks of warm weather soon. So that'll be warmer rain then 😁

I'm more worried about the rain combined with high tides flooding the roads round here. It's a right mess with the residue sand and silk when it n goes down again. Pick the wrong time to go out and you're picking you way through the back roads uk get past the floods. All with no van and no trains just replacement buses to get out of the area.

On n the bright side, we've been getting a fair few bright and sunny days. Even some with blue skies everywhere. Around the coast they've not really been getting that so I guess we're in a lucky pocket of good weather here.

Seriously though; I think this is just the way it is now. Constant unsettled weather (wind and rain) no matter the season. The odd nice day thrown in here and there doesn't really cut it.

I was in York a few weeks ago. The usually well kept cycle routes around the River Ouse are in a terrible state with mud in places. Minor roads throughout the area are in a similar state.
