I have a new SLR Friction free Monopost saddle. However l don't have the correct (27.2 mm) seatpost. The prices for new ones are astronomical so if anybody has a used one or just spare to requirements, l would be interested .
If l draw a total blank l would sell the saddle for £35 plus postage...
Has anyone experience of these saddles. I just acquired a new one , never fitted . Problem is l don't yet have the monolink post and by the look of it they don't come cheaply.
Nice very light saddle but are they worth the effort ?
Any comments/advice much appreciated
The Selle Italia X-Base saddle that came with my bike due to bobbly bits on the side look's to be leading to wearing on my bibs.

The bike I bought yesterday was from a lady who had this saddle fitted so it is now surplus to requirements .
The bike was little used and the saddle in is good condition and looks like the one in the attached link below. The reviews look good but the pink logo's are putting me off trying it...
Waiting for one of these to arrive.Just bought one of these for my new road bike , it has lots of good reviews Has anybody here got first hand experience of it ? always suspicious of the so called " reviews " on bike sale websites
This has been used for no more than 30 miles so is in excellent condition. It has manganese rails so feels really lightweight, the rails are perfect and have no clamp marks.
This saddle is available from Wiggle for £45.89 (follow link)

Bought for the Specialized I was building for myself but my wife has commandeered it (typical) and another as a 'spare' I just don't need nor will for ages. Most comfortable all-rounder I've ever sat on, suitable for racing, training or 100 mile+...

My Selle Italia Trans-Am Flite is gradually falling apart at the seams... I've tried:
Selle Italia XR XC Flow
Whyte's Stock Road Saddle
Essax Adrenaline R
Whilst I've not hated any of the above 3 I've kept going back to the old Trans-Am as it just seems to suit me slightly better.
Just a very quick simple question.
Is the Selle Italia X1 Flow seat a pretty good replacement for the Boardman E4P Saddle currently on my Boardman Hybrid Comp?
I know it's all about personal preference with saddles and what suits each individual but I just wanted some opinion.
Can get it...
Hi folks, I've just picked up a S/H Selle saddle. It fits me well and is very comfortable but has the minor issue of being at the limit of the tensioner screw when at a tautness I consider normal. What can I do? The leather is in great condition and has obviously been well treated, it is in no...
on one of my recent bike collection journeys i was offered this 1 ride old and as good as new very lightly used Selle Italia limited edition saddle .
Comes with the original Selle Italia cloth , the removed tag and string and sales brochures all in the original box .
As you can see main body...
As in title, very little use (it didn't suit my backside) £45 posted
A couple of small nicks in the leather underneath (zoom in on picture 2) where the seat clamp rubbed - otherwise immaculate condition
This came as standard equipment on my KTM Revelator. As gorgeous as it is (and it is) my sit bones are resolutely 135mm apart and thus, this saddle is 24mm too narrow for me. For those of a less neanderthal bone structure, it will be lush.
It's been ridden half a dozen times and looks...
