28mm - which is the standard size tyre on the bike. The Willier has caliper brakes. What is the max tyre width with mudguards?
I'd go for biggs cb - looks rather fine to me. Failing that I'd go for the carrera. The others you've listed are shite IMO. Halfords don't have the best rep for customer service, but I'd rather be dealing with them than Amazon, sports direct etc.Hello, I've just made an account as I too have the same question although I can go over £200 not by much. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Muddyfox-Tempo200-Hybrid-Bicycle-Lightweight/dp/B00EARKOCS How is this option, what's everyone opinion on suspension of hybrid just harder to pedal? There are many options such as barracuda and the muddy fox I linked, what should I choose? Thanks
How about a Wilier Asolo?
I got one for £200, delivered, from the UK distributors on eBay.
I've now done a couple of hundred miles on it and I'm very impressed. It's light, quick and handles really well.
It will take a rack and mudguards as well - ideal commuter bike.
Thoroughly recommended.
