The 26th January is the first day of the Chinese New Year and the above writings in the title are the approximate equivalent to us saying a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
It's also the same here in Vietnam (but a different language of course) and so for me this is the first day of the holiday and I don't go back into work again until Monday the 2nd February. One advantage of being an ex pat in this part of the world.
So in plain English may I wish you all a Happy New Year for the Year of the OX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
