Anything that has Whigfield in it and doesn’t have Ocean Colour Scene (The Day we Caught the Train) isn’t worth discussing at all!

Thats a really surprising Top Ten! Glad to see the Prodigy there, as saw them many times, but should they really be in that position? It may shine a light on how many really great tunes didn't make no.1, like Suppers Ready by Genesis

It is the Grauniad. With their track record for typos etc. they probably got the sort-order wrong in the excel spreadsheet they copied/pasted from before going to print.

Obvious that it’s a mistake as Bohemian Rhapsody is not at No.1

lol. TOTP would have been a much better as Supper’s Ready would have taken up the whole show.

One Beatles track, one Stones, no Who or Hendrix and the Pet Shop Boys at number 1? Even Mouldy Old Dough got in the chart!

Compiled by a pretentious dickhead, no doubt a vegan Hipster too.

The roolz say only one hit per artist, and the Who never had a UK no. 1

One of the problems with the list is the fact that most good songs never make it to No 1 because the charts are made up of singles purchased by teenaged girls.
