I dont tend to get any grief off motorbikers here. Theres the usual wasps nest of kids on mopeds trying to get the thing to do 40 downhill (if they havent taken the limiter gear off the engine - a fair few have), the rest are people 30+ on proper motorbikes.
A long with HGV drivers I tend to find them some of the best on the road.
However I've met plenty of bikers in my time and the idiot ones tend to end up in wheelchairs (even if not permanent damage its for a fair while). 2 I know were banned for speeding with silly speeds in residentials, and even they agreed their actions had been stupid.
A story that sticks in my mind is of a workmate's cousin, on the lanes doing 60 and a car just drove out of a side road not even stopping or slowing at the line. So from the damage I know that had been done to his bike, and the way his body had been destroyed (they had to cut out part of his liver, a kidney, and wire his legs back together, not to mention the massive head injury he's still getting over) - if you willfully put yourself in a position where you might end up with similar injuries then thats what can happen to your body.
Most of them are fine around here tbh. They tend to speed on the dual carriageways and motorways iirc more than the tighter, windyer roads.
