1st major climb completed, first ever selfie and first visit from the puncture fairy too!

Feeling rather pleased with myself, climbed Holme Moss today, was never going to break any records but I made it, blowing a right old hoolie towards the top too right into my face, took my first ever selfie at the summit too as there was nobody else around.

First visit from the puncture fairy on the way back home too but that didnt spoil the ride.

Was my second ride out using clipless pedals too. So far im impressed!!

Was 7.4kph on the actual climb according to the strava segment.
The whole ride will be useful one to monitor my progress. Will repeat it in a few weeks.

Well done, not an easy climb that one. I've done it a number of times.
Did you go all the way from down in Holmebridge?

Went all the way from home which is Huddersfield. About 25 mile round trip.

Had a coffee and flapjack refueling stop at Sid's Cafe in Holmfirth then kept going to the summit.

It was. Bike nearly blew away when I climbed off at the summit sign.
