As in 2 bikes....
Well, a couple of weeks off work, to help with the new addition to the family. There’s been some, but not loads of, cycle commuting since Xmas. Weights piled on abit.
Figured if I get an hour I’d jump on the bike. Gain a bit more fitness before going back to work.
Opportunity came today. For some reason I dismissed the commuter/roady and dragged the MTB off the wall, where its been for the last 6-9 months. The commutes been enough.
Just got out of the door and hit the trails. Nice mix of road and offroad, round the local abbey ruins and the woods. Some deep mud holes, with the rear wheel spinning and next to no traction……then onto the road to get it fly out of the treads and all over! Glad I was wearing shades…
Enjoyable for some of the effort to be transferred to upper body. Made me remember how much fun the MTB can be. It wont have so long on the wall again.
