I'm a now slightly doubtful. I've had a bad attack of gout in my wrist today which made commuting this morning "interesting". On previous patterns it should have cleared up by the weekend but I'll have to see.

I hope so. It's been feckin agony today and added 15 mins to my commute home. I'll be commuting by train tomorrow. Normally, if it was in my foot I'd say it would be gone by Thurs/Fri. I don't often get it in my wrist but I'd hope for similar timeframes.

Weather reports are looking better for Sunday. Looking nice and warm. Rain all but gawn....

Ian at the road room is pretty quick at getting work done, I've had a few bits done over there and always done by the time he said it would.

I'm almost certainly out now. Gout is still bad in my wrist today so even assuming I woke up tomorrow pain free (which is unlikely), putting my wrist under pressure on a bike for 100+ miles on Sunday wouldn't do it any favours.

The weather is looking great though so hope you have a fantastic ride. I will lie in my garden in the sunshine and think of you all.
