If anyone wants to do something really point less, you could go and look at the most featureless square km of the UK at Ousefleet
There are no structures, drains, rivers, hedges in the grid though it is crossed by an overhead power cable supported by pylons situated outside of the grid.
I cycle past it twice a year on Audaxes and have been underwhelmed by its attractiveness. Blacktoft Sands bird sanctuary is nearby if you want an ornithological justification for being in the area.
