Might have to try it out. Sure it's pretty good and serves a purpose. I have 105 on my best bike so not after anything fancy with this build.

Why? (As someone looking at new Sora for my runaround/commuter)
The Tiagra was a smoother shift and it was 10 speed as apposed to 9 speed Sora. With a Tiagra it will be easier to upgrade again if parts wear or brake.

i would advise popping in a shop and seeing what you think!

Started looking on sites for Tiagra parts and i have seen a pair of shifters for £157 and an individual (right) shifter for £49.99 both on the same site!
