2018 Giant Defy Advanced 3 - Internal Cable Guides

Hello.

So i've been running my Giant Defy Adv without internal cable guides (for the gears) for a few years but this mistake has caught up with me, as the gear cables have been dragging, snagging etc.

I must have lost the internal guides when I had the cables replaced - I don't remember who did the work and I only realised a year or so after the work was done. I certainly didn't remove it. Perhaps there wasn't a guide in the first place ??

I cannot find an exact kit for my bike.

My question is, rather than buy a kit which may or may not fit, can I just buy some internal cable guide material and cut it to fit ?

Perhaps I should email the Giant Spares people and see if they can find a match, or advise ?

They are very helpful, and you can also call them for quicker response
I have used a jagwire inner sleeve for my own giant, a contend sl. Went in from top and had a profile that sat in the cable entry point at top end. I used wd40 on outside on sleeve to run it in.

I used this guys videos as reference, for this and many other jobs, he is very helpful with the content
