Widar just lost a dom, not surprising Belgium have been on the front for a long time now

Stage 4 was indeed a bunch sprint won by some chap from Luxembourg. It was a very watchable stage, though with attacks aplenty.
The finish to stage 5 was indeed very enjoyable with Seixas, Widar and Mateo Ramírez all putting on a show and Finn, Nordhagen and Omrzel hanging on for dear life. I wasn't familiar with the Ecuadorian Ramírez but it turns out he's just been plucked from an amateur team in Spain by UAE Gen-Z. Their talent spotting at U23 and junior level is pretty impressive.

Just trying to catch up with this. Lots of clicking on PCS... Everyone's talking about the usual suspects (Seixas, Widar, Finn etc) but no-one's mentioned the leader Maxime Decomble. I think he is still holding on to 2 and a half minutes gained in a breakaway in stage 2? All his fellow breakaway time-gainers have fallen off by now, or were so far down that the time didn't lift them up the GC. Is that right?

Thanks to those who are reporting on it for the info btw. I only have so much attention span that I can dedicate to the cycling.

Decomble, who, is a decent climber in his own right, is 51 seconds ahead of Seixas and would be further ahead if he hadn't burnt himself out providing Seixas with a blistering lead out to launch an attack on the final climb. As you rightly say, he gained 2 and a half minutes in a break and all his breakaway companions have now fallen down the GC.

TORRES apparently with 10 seconds on a group of favourites that includes

BOCK
WIDAR
DECOMBLE
SEIXAS
RAMÍREZ
NORDHAGEN

FINN is seemingly paying for his earlier attack and has been dropped from the group of favourites.

According to PCS, Decomble has got back into the lead group.

I'm a Decomble fan, despite the fact that I had never heard of him until a couple of hours ago. Go Max!
