Historically, Tirreno stages are 200km+, whereas P-Ns are usually 50km shorter.
And yes, it’s all because of La Primavera.

Missed the crash and how this happened, but Ayuso rode again then climbed off and lay down - hope he's not badly hurt.
Red Bull now TTTing it with the rest of the fron group a little behind, but Vingegaard is on the Red Bull wheels
